A hidden resort in Rajasthan

With 12 private cottages each having a pool, say goodbye to your busy city life. Lakshman Sagar was built in the 19th Century as a hunting lodge by the then Thakur of Raipur. Despite going through a few changes over the years, it still continues to remain the center of hospitality for tourists across the globe.

With the help of architects, 12 cottages have been transformed into a sustainable manner with 6 cottages on either side of the lake. Every cottage has a private pool overlooking the lake.

The design and interiors speak of the traditions of Rajasthan. Keeping intact the heritage of the place, the cottages are made in a fashion that will preserve it. The furniture and cushions are sourced locally to get the feel of the place.

The dining experience is simply marvelous. Lakshman Sagar serves grand Indian-style food with exotic spices and herbs. You can choose to dine by the lake or even privately in your cottage.

Some of the famous activities at Lakshman Sagar encourage the tourists to live in natural surroundings. From local liquor tasting, vegetable harvesting to live cooking, you will surely get a rich experience of Rajasthan’s culture by spending a few days at this resort.
