Check if your phone has these apps that Indian Army terms dangerous

Chinese apps have once again come under the security scanner in India and this time there are more than 40 apps in the list. In a country wide advisory issued to all military and paramilitary formations, the government has expressed fear that several Chinese apps are either spyware or malicious malware and has asked officials to ensure that men under their control delete these apps.

The Union Home Ministry formed the advisory with inputs from intelligence agencies like the R&AW and NTRO. It asks personnel to immediately uninstall these apps and format their phone.


As mentioned above, there are more than 40 app Chinese apps in this list including few popular names like Mi Store from Xiaomi, Weibo and WeChat. Here is the full list:
